This program converts a UNICODE text file to an ASCII text file (the UNICODE high order byte is simply ignored).
The program can be downloaded from here as a ZIP file.
This ZIP file contains the application. Uncompress this ZIP file to a directory which is in your PATH (eg.: C:\BIN). The program is typically run from the MS-DOS command line or from within a 'MS-DOS Prompt' window.
The program can be invoked as follows:
UNI2TXT input-filename output-filename
